Guoda started playing the piano at the age of 4 and gradually got serious about performing. She started participating in different national and International contests and intensively giving concerts already at the age of 6 and one year later performing a rendition of A. Rauli Piano Concerto in G major, accompanied by a national Chamber Orchestra in Lithuania. One thing led to another and she was invited to study at the prestigious National Ciurlionis Art School in Vilnius, where she had an intense learning surrounded of Russian teaching methods, which involved a deep dedication and work. The training wasn’t easy, but it led to the pleasant achievements. Graduation year of 2012 was the starting point of a new chapter

 

On stage she has been performing actively both as a soloist and a brilliant chamber music member. Being a winner of 13 international piano solo and chamber music competitions in Lithuania, Check Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and France, back at home she has a quite big folder of diplomas. Some competitions are worth mentioning: Guoda was awarded 1st prize in N. Rubinstein’s Youngsters piano competition in Paris; 1 prize in the Austrian - German music contest “Klaviermusik”, as well as 1 prize in Polish music contest dedicated to F. Chopin in Vilnius. She was also awarded a Grand Prix in the International Competition “Music without limits” in Druskininkai, Lithuania. Guoda is a laureate and a winner of special prizes (audience prize, special prize for best rendition of Baroque piece) of all ‘International B. Dvarionas’ piano competitions she participated in

In 2007 Guoda was awarded as a recipient of M. Rostropovich Support Foundation scholarship and was supported for 3 years. She also had an opportunity to travel to Moscow for and personally meet maestro himself

In 2008 Guoda was invited to perform in Germany by another Lithuanian pianist G. Gedvilaite, with whom she formed a piano duo and had tours in Germany and Lithuania. In 2009 She got an Artist Award from Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite

 

During 2012 – 2013 Guoda was performing in Germany for several times and had successful concerts in Frankfurt, Mannheim, Huttenfield and Bad Wildungen, where she shared the stage with famous International pianists Evgenia Rubinova, Oliver Kern, Petras Geniusas and Christopher Park.

 

 During her years of performing Guoda had private lessons and master courses with many famous international professors, including: Igor Lazko, Nina Seriogina, Alexandr Toradze, Vera Nosina, Andrius Zlabys, Muza Rubackyte, Oliver Kern, Evgenia Rubinova, Kirill Gerstein, Martin Jepsen, Steven Osborne and William Fong

 

In 2014 Guoda got a place and two scholarships to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

During the time in UK she has been performing as a soloist, accompanist, and an active piano duo partner in various set ups, including a Fazioli Factory Showcase in 2016 in Italy, annual RCS Plug Festivals – events of contemporary music exploration. At RCS Piano Festival each year 2014 - 2020, she collaborated in multi-piano performances, Piano and Dance showcases, and piano duo performances

She's been organizing tours and concerts in Lithuania and UK. During 2019 she had an honour to perform for HRH Prince Charles at an event held by Royal Conservatoire. She has been highly recommended to play for various events of a huge importance ever since, including private Scottish Government meetings and public events as "Creative Conversations" between RCS and Glasgow University distinguished members

In 2020 Guoda created and initiated a collaborative project with Vilnius University Chamber Orchestra and contemporary music composer Raimonda Žiūkaitė, by creating a 7 part’s cycle piece for piano, orchestra and electronics, - a synthesis of modern sounds for piano and chamber orchestra, called “Mysterium”, which initially is deeply connected to the history of mythology and legends. This project won an award of a generous amount, granted by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture and Arts in 2020

 

In March of 2021 Guoda won a 2nd place at the International Piano Competition “Wienner Klassiker” of Danubia, adult category. In April she won 1st place at the International Oradea Piano Competition and got an opportunity to play with an Oradea Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra

Currently Guoda continues creating and is in the process of building a new solo repertoire for an upcoming album
